2026 Annual Convention: 40 Years Impacting ELT in Panama

Panama TESOL's 40th Annual Convention — "Celebrating 40 Years Impacting ELT in Panama" — took place in three parts: a virtual convention via Zoom from June 29 to July 2, an Anniversary Gala on Friday, July 3, and an in-person convention on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the Sortis Hotel, Spa & Casino, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The program included keynote addresses by Gabriel Díaz Maggioli (TESOL International Association), Ana Isabel Campos (Quality Leadership University), and Abdías Luque (Panama TESOL), as well as special remarks from founder Melva Lowe de Goodin during the 40th anniversary celebration.

Virtual passes sold out ("Sold Out"); in-person registration was $65, the gala $55, and the All Access Pass $125. More than a professional development event, the convention was a celebration of the shared journey of Panama's ELT community.
